For this property in Leytonstone (E11), East London, we installed a Samsung 16kW air source heat pump as part of a complete low-carbon heating and hot water system, including Sunamp thermal storage, a Hive thermostat and full system commissioning.

Rather than simply installing the outdoor heat pump, the project was designed as a complete heating and hot water solution. This included a 25-litre buffer tank with secondary circulation pump, 35mm dual-insulated copper pipework, a dedicated fuse board for the heat pump and hot water system, and a concrete base for the outdoor unit. The Sunamp 300X-Plus thermal storage uses phase change material to provide compact, efficient hot water storage, carrying a 10-year warranty.

The installation was completed to full MCS standards with MCS certification, Building Control certificate and DNO commissioning all issued. The Boiler Upgrade Scheme application and voucher redemption were managed as part of the service. The Samsung heat pump is backed by a 7-year manufacturer warranty, the Sunamp thermal storage by a 10-year warranty, and the installation itself by a 2-year IWA workmanship warranty.
