Heat Pump Installer South Croydon, CR2

Heat pump installer covering South Croydon and the CR2 area, we recently completed a Samsung Gen 7 12kW R290 air source heat pump installation for a South London home undergoing extensive renovation, designing a multi-zone system to serve both the main property and an integrated granny annex.

Following a detailed room-by-room heat loss assessment, the system was designed to complement the home’s renovation works, including new underfloor heating downstairs, upgraded radiators upstairs and planned external wall insulation. A 250-litre Samsung Joule hot water cylinder and Samsung Gen 7 control kit were installed within a dedicated plant room in the utility room, with the outdoor unit positioned on an existing concrete base at the rear of the property, within 5 metres of the cylinder for an efficient pipework layout.

The system integrates two heating zones, the ground floor underfloor heating and the first floor radiators, giving independent temperature control across the home. The installation also accommodates the conversion of the existing granny annex into the main heating system, future-proofing the property for its extended use.

The Samsung Gen 7 uses eco-friendly R-290 refrigerant with a Global Warming Potential of just 3, and is backed by a 7-year manufacturer warranty through our Samsung approved installer status. The installation was fully commissioned to MCS standards with MCS certification, DNO notification and Building Control documentation issued on completion.
