Excellent service from start to finish. Jack was fantastic in helping me design and specify my air source heat pump and air conditioning system. He made sure I was happy with the proposed solution and pricing every step of the way. His technical knowledge is excellent, and at no point did I feel pressured into making any decisions. I had an excellent experience with Green Electro Heating. They installed a Samsung 16kW heat pump along with a Joules 400L water tank, and the entire job was completed within just three days. The team went above and beyond, after initially removing a 300L tank, they made the extra effort to install a 400L tank instead, despite the challenges of working within a very tight space. Their problem-solving and attention to detail really stood out. The aftercare has also been fantastic, with great follow-up support following the installation. On top of that, they guided me through securing both the government grant and additional grant from Barclays, which made a huge difference. Highly recommend, professional, efficient, and genuinely helpful throughout the whole process. Thank you!

This is a follow-up to my earlier review after 14 months of having the heat pump and benefiting from a warm flat all day long. I'm so glad I made the decision to go ahead with the installation by Green Electro Heating in Enfield, who guided me through the process of applying for the Government's grant of £7,500 towards the cost. The pump is working well and I don't have to think about it. I can fully recommend getting a heat pump to anybody who is thinking about it.

Questions businesses ask us
Can a business get the £7,500 Boiler Upgrade Scheme grant?
Small non-domestic buildings can, in England and Wales, as long as the heat pump is up to 45 kW of capacity and it replaces a fossil fuel or direct electric system. Larger systems are outside the scheme.
We check it at the survey, and where it applies we make the application and take the grant off the invoice.
Is there VAT on a commercial heat pump?
Yes. The 0 per cent VAT relief on heat pumps is for homes, so a commercial installation is quoted with VAT at the standard rate. A VAT registered business can usually reclaim it.
Can you work around our opening hours?
Usually, yes. We plan the noisy and the disruptive parts around when the building is in use, and we tell you before we start which days the heating will be off.
What do you need from us to price it?
Access to the building for the survey, the size of the space and what it is used for, the existing heating system, and any drawings you have. From that we do the heat loss, design the system and give you a fixed written price.
What if the building needs more than one heat pump?
Then we fit two or more working together in cascade, as we did on a large house in Barnet. Two units share the load, and if one is being serviced the other keeps the building warm.
