The heating system features a Samsung Gen 7 8kW R290 monoblock air source heat pump, paired with a 300-litre Joule unvented hot water cylinder, a Samsung 2-zone touchscreen control system with integrated Wi-Fi, and a 50-litre buffer vessel to optimise system performance. The Samsung Gen 7 uses eco-friendly R-290 refrigerant with a Global Warming Potential of just 3, and is backed by a 7-year manufacturer warranty through our Samsung approved installer status. The Joule cylinder carries a 25-year warranty on the stainless-steel internal cylinder and a 2-year parts and labour warranty.
To complement the heating installation, we also installed a Samsung multi-split air conditioning system, comprising an 8kW inverter outdoor unit serving two 3.5kW slimline ducted indoor units. The system delivers discreet, quiet cooling during the summer while also providing efficient heating when required, giving the property complete year-round climate control. Both the heat pump and air conditioning equipment are Wi-Fi enabled and carry a 7-year Samsung manufacturer warranty.
The heat pump installation was completed to full MCS standards, with MCS certification, DNO notification, Building Control certification, Boiler Upgrade Scheme documentation and IWA warranty registration all issued on completion.
